EN 9100 Auditor
EN 9100:2018 · EN 9101:2023
You won’t read the standard. You’ll conduct the audit.
Three days in the role of EN 9100 auditor at an aerospace manufacturer. You question an organisation whose people are played by an artificial intelligence, you write up your findings, and you rule on its fitness for certification.
- 3 days, on site
- 8 participants maximum
- AI-assisted audit simulator
- AQMS auditor equivalence
It all begins in a world that doesn’t exist. That is the condition for learning to work in the real one.
You don’t become an auditor by reading a standard.
Conventional standards training produces surface compliance. Participants can find a clause, phrase a requirement, quote a definition. But faced with a real system - its contradictions, its workarounds, its grey areas - the critical reflex simply isn’t there.
What conventional training installs
Declarative knowledge. You know where the requirement sits. You can rephrase it. You recognise it in a slide deck.
What the field demands
Judgement. Knowing what to ask, of whom, in what order. Telling a minor deviation from a major non-conformity. Defending a finding that will be challenged.
The gap between the two does not close with more theory. It closes with practice under real conditions.

« You don’t master a standard by reading it. You master it by holding it up against the complexity of the real world. »
Immersion is not a wrapper. It is the condition for learning.
We place the learner inside a realistic industrial scenario where they have to analyse, decide and act as they would in the field. Three combined levers, one requirement: engagement.
E-learning
The fundamentals acquired beforehand, at your own pace. Classroom time is reserved for what cannot be learnt alone: judgement calls.
Escape game
Clues to find, evidence to cross-check, a clock running. Looking for information becomes a skill rather than an instruction.
Board game
A physical support that makes decisions, turns and consequences visible. You can see where you stand, and what you have committed to.

This is not a passing fashion.
The design rests on three lines of thought that converge on the same conviction: you only truly learn by committing, and committing means accepting that you may lose or win. That is precisely what a game makes possible.

Professional didactics
Real activity, not theoretical knowledge, is the starting point of professional competence.

Experiential learning
Experience only becomes learning once it has been lived, observed, conceptualised, then played out again.

Learning by doing
You don’t learn to do by listening. You learn to do by doing, and then by reflecting on what you did.
This approach extends the Q-SYNQ® philosophy of QALIA Performance: bringing quality engineering together with an understanding of human dynamics inside organisations.
You are the auditor of Nucleo Dynamics.
One assignment across three days: conduct the EN 9100 audit of an aerospace manufacturer, from preparation through to the decision.
Your role
EN 9100 auditor appointed to Nucleo Dynamics.
Your assignment
Assess the conformity and performance of the system, then rule on its fitness for certification.
Your constraint
People who don’t tell you everything, incomplete evidence, unforeseen events. Just like the field.

The people you question are not role-play. They are played by an AI.
At the heart of the design sits an AI-assisted audit simulator, developed by QALIA Performance within Solariom, our immersive training platform. The audited organisation is embodied by seven interlocutors, each with their function, their remit and their character. You question them out loud. They answer out loud.

A spoken interview, not a form
You ask your questions out loud, in your own words, and the person answers you by speaking. The replies are not scripted: they are built from their role and their context. A badly framed question earns a hollow answer - exactly as in the field.
Your conduct is assessed
The simulator watches not only what you find, but how you look for it: the quality of your questioning, the search for evidence, the way you run the interview.
Unevenly cooperative interlocutors
Each character has a difficulty level. You don’t approach the chief executive the way you approach the sales director. You learn to adapt how you run an interview to whoever is sitting across from you.
The right to get it wrong
You can be wrong, press on, backtrack, start again. Nothing real is at stake, so nothing is held back: that is where competence forms.
An interview extract
Have you ever run into quality failures?
Yes, we have had non-quality situations. For instance, a non-conforming product was released without a complete final inspection, because a documentary sign-off was missed. Its initial criticality was high, at 128.
What we can claim, and what we cannot.
Of the fourteen EN 9100 training providers reviewed, none offers practice other than human role-play on a case study, and none advertises generative artificial intelligence as a teaching method.
We do not claim to have invented AI audit simulation: conversational simulators of this kind have existed since 2024. They cover ISO 9001 and QHSE, explicitly exclude AS9100 and EN 9100, and address companies preparing for certification rather than the training of auditors.
To our knowledge, no single offering brings all three together: EN 9100 coverage for auditor training, interlocutors played by AI with no pre-written dialogue, and structural gamification.

What you will be able to do.
The course objectives, exactly as they appear in the programme.
Conduct an EN 9100 audit
Be able to conduct audits against the requirements of EN 9100:2018, using EN 9101:2023.
Obtain the AQMS equivalence
Obtain an AQMS EN 9100:2018 equivalence - Aerospace Quality Management System.
The essentials.
Duration and format
3 days, on site.
Group size
8 participants maximum.
- Who it is for
- People seeking the AQMS EN 9100 auditor equivalence. People who want to be able to conduct audits against the requirements of EN 9100:2018 using EN 9101:2023.
- Prerequisites
- Experience as an internal QMS auditor, or having completed QMS auditor training. Working knowledge of the requirements of EN 9100:2018. Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015.
- Assessment and certificate
- Participants’ knowledge is assessed through a multiple-choice test and practical exercises. The course is sanctioned by a training certificate that takes the assessments into account.
The group is deliberately capped at 8: the design rests on practice under real conditions and on each participant making their own calls.
